Who We Are

The Westville Lions Club was formed July 15th, 1940 to assist those in need with vision and hearing needs.

They slowly began to branch their way into helping with humanitarian needs of our community.  In late 1940, the club took over organizing what is our biggest fundraiser and what our club is best known for, the Labor Day Parade and Celebration.  The parade and celebration have grown to be a mainstay in our community and will forever hold traditions that many return home for each and every year.

Our club has spread beyond the festival, helping in other areas of need - such as our school district and the village as a whole.  These areas include events such as Breakfast with the Easter Bunny and Egg Hunt; Halloween Trunk or Treat at Zamberletti Park; a Fill the Bus campaign - where we collect school supplies for the kids in the Westville School District; and Whobilation, which provides a free will donation pancake/sausage breakfast and pictures with Santa, Mrs. Claus, and The Grinch.  We have assisted with many pairs of glasses to those in need throughout our years as well.  Our club is a part of the largest service organization in the World; Lions Clubs International.  Our international organization places a focus on not only vision and hearing needs but also assists those battling childhood cancers, diabetes, environment issues, and those with hunger needs.  Please join us in helping those in our community and around the world.  Be a Lion!!
