2025 Labor Day Food Vendors
Vendor Contract Guidelines
1. As a vendor I understand I must be fully set up by Friday, August 29th at noon for Vermilion County Health Department walk-thru. I understand that I must remain set up and open the following times (unless prior arrangements have been made): Friday: 6-9pm, Sat/Sun: 10am – 9pm. Monday: 10am-4pm, unless approved to shut down early by a Lions Club member. I understand that I must have someone in each trailer at all times to serve customers. I may not leave the trailer/tent unattended at any time. I understand that my trailer must be removed at the end of the festival, Monday 9/1/25 – it may not remain in the park after this date (no exceptions).
2. I understand that I may not serve the following items, as the carnival has exclusive rights – corn dogs, lemon shakeups, cotton candy, and funnel cakes/elephant ears.
3. The Westville Lions Club, Zamberletti Park, the Village of Westville, or any connected entities assume no responsibility for theft, or any damages that may occur due to storm or other incident.
4. I understand that my vendor fee for my space must be paid by August 1, 2025- (no exceptions) to secure my spot. I understand that if my fee is not paid, another vendor may be allowed in my place.
5. All food/drink is to be served in a clean and safe manner, abiding by all VCHD rules and regulations. I understand I may be inspected at any time. Vendors are responsible for leaving a clean area at closing.
6. All vendors shall exhibit professional manners always.
7. Spaces shall be assigned by the Westville Lions Club
8. Collected fees go towards advertising, equipment, maintenance, and other items as decided upon by the Westville Lions Club.
9. The Westville Lions Club reserves the right to ask a vendor to leave at any time for not following the above guidelines, or for any threat to safety or security of our members and fair attendees.
10. I understand that this vendor fee is non-refundable due to my inability to attend for any personal reason. It is also non-refundable for weather related or other natural disasters.
11. No vehicles will be allowed in the park between the hours of 10am-9pm (4pm on Monday) unless accompanied by a Westville Lions Club member or member of law enforcement (with the exception of first responders).
